Decide on price with yesterday's market in front of you.

For consumer goods groups that set price and assortment across the whole national market.

Consumer goods

The proof

The competitor's price stops being guesswork.

From a partial snapshot to yesterday's data.

A consumer goods group now sets its prices with the previous day's market in front of it, store by store.

The typical problem

Knowing where the market stands takes a hand-made collection effort that rarely holds up over time. And when a store stops carrying your product, you find out weeks later, once the sale is already lost.

What we build

We build a price and presence observatory over the main national chains. It collects the market every day and organizes it by product, format and store, so each morning you decide on yesterday's data. It covers the two questions the business asks: where your reference stands against the one next to it, and which stores no longer carry it. The observatory and its history stay inside your company.

Lineal

This project is sold today as a product: Lineal, the price and presence observatory, installed on your own servers.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions.

How often is the market observed, and which chains does it cover?

The observatory covers the main national grocery chains, both the online assortment and physical stores by postcode, and extends to whichever ones your category needs. It is refreshed every day: the figure you see in the morning is from the previous day at the latest.

Can we check where a specific figure comes from?

Yes. Every observation keeps the chain, the store, the date and the listing it was taken from. You can see where each figure comes from before it goes to a committee.

Does the observatory stay inside our company?

Yes. It is installed on your own servers and the history builds up inside, so the asset grows over time under your control. The technology provides the daily observation; the pricing judgment stays with the business.
